When she got home she went to her room and looked for something to wear. A few minutes later her sister Mary came to her room. She asked Lucy " Where are you going? " " Oh, I'm going on a date with a boy named Mitch I met today when I was walking " said Lucy.

" Where are you going? " asked Mary. " To dinner at the pool hall, " answered Lucy. Mary said, " Did you ask mom and dad? " " No, " said Lucy, " but I will. "

Then Lucy went to her mom and asked " Can I go on a date? " Her mom said " yes " and asked " what time will you be back? " Lucy said " 9:00. " " Okay, " said mom. After thanking her mom she went to her room and picked out a tank top, sweater and skirt to wear. She then went downstairs to wait for Mitch. " You look nice " said her mom when she saw her. Soon the doorbell rang. It was Mitch. Lucy introduced Mitch to her mom and they left. Then Matt came downstairs. " Where are you going? " said mom. Matt replied " out with Shonna. "

Then Simon came in and said " I'm going to the movies alone. " " Okay " said mom. Lucy and Mitch were having so much fun. They stayed for two hours and then went home. When Lucy got home her mom said " you're home so early. " " I know, but we really had a lot of fun, " said Lucy. The next day Lucy said she was going out with Jordon. Her mom said " no you can't because your sister is going out with Jordan. " Lucy decided to go to the pool instead. Matt was going to the pool too, so she went with him. Later that day her dad came home from work. He remembered that it was Ruthies ninth birthday.

When everybody got home they had a birthday party for Ruthie. Ruthie got shoes that had high heels, and shirts, skirts and pants.

After opening the presents they had a good time.
