Hi, I'm Peter, and I know there's a snoozal under my bed. You might think I'm stupid or crazy, but I don't care because I'm right as a daisy! I tried to tell my dad, but he just said, " Now, Peter, just because you're sweeter than your brother Skiter doesn't mean you can make up such tales. " I told my mom. I said, " Mommy, I know there's a snoozal under my bed. " She said, " Now, Petey, sweetie, you know there isn't a snoozal under your bed. It's all in your head. "

I tried to tell my older brother, Skiter. He said, " A Snoozal? And I thought the zock in the clock was a bit too much, but this! "

I didn't even think to tell my little brother Zeter. He's too young.

" Time for supper! " Mom called. After supper I got ready for bed. I said, " 'night " to Mom and Dad too. I knew what I had to do. A trap, yep, that will work.

So when all was silent, not a creature was stirring, not even a zous, I scurried around the house! I took food, lots of good food -- food of all kinds. I had schmandy candy, kudding pudding, roast beast, and even the last fudged nudged brownie! I trailed the food from my bed to the shed!

Then I heard it" it was slithering down the stairs, and it slithered like a giant gizzard outside and into the shed! Boo,! I had the snoozal in the shed and not under my bed. And Mom said it was in my head! But, it's not in my head; it's in the shed!
