My Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

It all started when my nuisance of a brother pounced on my while I was still asleep. Then I discovered that my only slacks had a humongeous hole in them.

Next, the cat decided that ankles are good to eat, then my Sunny Delight spilled all over my white dress shirt. Did I mention that this particular Sunny-D was STRAWBERRY?!?! If this keeps up, I'm going to go live in Oregon.

When I got to school, [after the bus breaking down twice!] my computer froze on me, I got 23 wrong on my math test, had to eat sloppy Joe's for lunch, and discovered that my 'best friend' had swiped my date for the school Sock Hop.

And on top of that, someone sabotaged my glue bottle. Then you know what? I missed the bus.

After walking home, I was marooned on my tree fort by that crazy next-door beagle. I hat that dog! I hope it goes to Oregon.

When I escaped, I went inside to watch TV. But, all the baby shows were on. Then, I went into the upstairs living room to look in my telescope, only to discover that someone had put a black-eye joke in it.

So, I went to my room, but I had to listen to Mason sing down the vent. Later [after eating onion soup!] I attempted to take a bubble bath, but the dog came in, too.

Then I told mom about my day, and she hugged me and said that everyone has days like this. In bed, I was visited by an odd thought about Oregon...What if a redwood tree fell on me? Then it would be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
