THE BRACELET
BY SAM

Once upon a time a very long time ago in a deep, dark and dingy forest there lived a gnome in a cottage. This gnomes name was Simon. Now Simon was very short and was not ordinary but he was blessed with the special gift, of the BRACELET.

The BRACELET had special powers, when wearing the BRACELET you could see into the future. Everyone envied the Simons BRACELET especially his evil twin the Oompa-Loompa.

Oompa-Loompa was the naughty one in the family he was always getting into trouble, being mean, and stealing things, and here is another one of those days.

Simon was doing some yard work one day when all of a sudden he got a vision that his brother was going to steal the BRACELET. Simon was worried he didn't know what to do for he knew he was going to be coming soon. Simon was being really alert while he was working in his garden, but not alert enough, for his evil brother was standing right in front of him. Simon didn't know what to do. For once he was really scared.  "Hello Simon how are you, " sneered his evil brother.

"I'm fine, Oompa-Loompa. What do you want from me? " said Simon. His evil twin jumped at him and threw a black bag over Simon. Simon knew why he had come for him; he wanted the BRACELET. Simon was scared he knew what his brother was capable of and it was not good. Oompa-Loompa was planning to take him to his lair so he could take the BRACELET, but Simon was not going to let that happen, for he loved the BRACELET so much that he was greedy.

Simon was still in the bag it was a bumpy ride to where ever he was taking him. Simon wished his brother could be nice like the rest of his family, but he guessed in every family there was someone bad. At least he hoped he wasn't the only one with an evil twin.

When they got to his lair Oompa-Loompa said  "Give it to me it should have been mine. "  "Well to bad you're never going to get it, " said Simon. Simon knew his brother would try to do something stupid like this. He was mad. Just then Oompa-Loompa lunged at him in fury. Simon dodged him just in time, and he ran for the exit hoping that he wouldn't be followed.

He ran and ran until he couldn't anymore so he stopped to make sure he wasn't being followed. He started walking until he got to a cliff side that he was not familiar with. He took the BRACELET and threw it as hard as he could for he never wanted it back again, he was sick of his brother trying to steal it and he for once wanted to lead his own life without knowing what was going to happen.
