By Jennifer On a warm summer evening the fairies come out to dance. They skate across the water on their wings, While the dwarfs come out to play a beat on the mushrooms. Then the frogs come out to sing. The fawns play cattails like flutes, And the squirrels start chirping. The hummingbirds come down to dance with the fairies, And then the owl comes back. He signals the break of day,
Sending all the partygoers scurrying back to their homes.
