*Here is gone*

I'm in a car
It starts to rain,
I'm not telling
But I'm in pain.

My friends are with me
All around,
Don't want to go on
Wish I was homeward bound.

Road trip
Away from here,
My home is far back
Nowhere near.

My friends are chattering
Amongst themselves.
Don't know what to say
On a destination,
But don't know which way.

The weather outside
Is wet and cold,
I keep on going
Becoming bold.

The air is cool
The sky is gray,
In a spot, a sunshine ray.....
It doesn't stay.

The car keeps moving
We're on our way,
Way to see
A brighter day.

I look around
Not sure what road I'm on,
It feels like

"Here is Gone"
