The Fight for the Prince
By Katie

Once upon a time, a very long time ago in a castle there lived a Prince. Just down the road there was another castle. In that castle there lived a Princess. They loved each other, but the Princess thought that the Prince and another girl were in love.

One sunny afternoon the Prince, Princess, and another girl were having tea in the Prince's garden. They all were having a wonderful time until the girl started flirting with the Prince. The Princess got so mad when she finally said,  "I can't take it any more! " and stomped off. All she could think about was how she wanted the girl killed.

The Princess thought for a long, long time and finally decided she would have to kill the girl by herself.  "I will dress up as a strong warrior and sneak into the castle and kill the girl, " the Princess said to herself. Off in the corner a fairy hid, hearing every word the Princess said.

The Princess got dressed and set off to find that girl. She snuck into the castle and found the Prince and the beautiful girl right where she left them.

When the Prince left the room, the Princess slowly walked up behind the girl and tried to kill her. But as soon as she got her sword, the Prince came back into the room.  "Stop! " the Prince yelled as he pulled out his sword.

Right then a voice that no one had ever heard before, spoke up and said,  "Wait, wait, that is the Princess. " It was the fairy, which had heard the Princess earlier that day. She must have followed the Princess to the castle. The Princess took off her mask.

"What " the Prince and the girl said together.
 "It's true, I am the Princess. "
"Why are you dressed up like that? "
"I was mad at that girl, because you love her. "
 "But I don't love her! "

"She is the Witch, dressed up as a beautiful girl. She was jealous of you, because she knew the Prince liked you, " the fairy explained.

"Guards take her away, " the Prince demanded, as he pointed towards the Witch.

Later that day the Witch was killed, just like the Princess had wanted. The Princess found out that the Prince had always loved her, not the Witch. They were able to plan their wedding, and every one lived happily ever after.
